The Orange Peel Scrap Grabber is a heavy-duty hydraulic material handling attachment widely matched with excavators and cranes. Named after its multi-petal orange-peel opening and closing structure, it is specially designed for grabbing, lifting and transferring bulk irregular materials. Mainly used for steel scrap, iron ore, slag, waste metal and bulk industrial materials in steel mills, recycling yards and ports. Featuring large grabbing capacity, strong clamping force and high flexibility, it solves the low-efficiency problem of traditional manual and single-bucket handling, becoming the core supporting equipment for metallurgical scrap recycling and bulk material transportation.

Working Principle

The orange peel grabber adopts multi-claw synchronous hydraulic driving structure. Driven by a high-power hydraulic cylinder group, the multiple arc-shaped claws realize synchronous opening, closing and clamping actions. When working, the claws open to cover bulk scattered materials, then shrink tightly to form a fully enclosed grabbing space, firmly locking irregular scrap steel and bulk materials. Equipped with 360° full hydraulic rotary function, it can freely adjust the grabbing angle without dead corners. Cooperating with excavator or crane linkage, it completes continuous grabbing, transferring and stacking operations, realizing high-efficiency mechanized material handling.
