Function and structure
The rigid dummy bar and storage device are located behind the tension leveler and above the front cutting roller table. During pouring preparation, the dummy bar is sent to the secondary cooling chamber by the storage device and the tension leveler, and the dummy bar head is sent to the lower opening of the mould through the guide arc section. After the start of casting, the dummy bar will lead the billet with green shell out of the mold. When passing through the tension leveler, the ingot stripping roller separates the slab from the dummy bar head, and the dummy bar enters the storage device.
The dummy bar is composed of dummy head and dummy bar body. The storage device is composed of base, driving device, etc.
